Turkish schools in Afghanistan won 147 medals this year
Afghan-Turkish schools are source of pride for the country as they won 147 medals this year at international Science olympiads. They won 75 medals last year. The Education Minister made a speech underlining that Turkey had always helped his country in education. He said, “Today, this ceremony’s purpose is to celebrate the efforts the students show and the high quality education these schools provide.”
Science Fair at PakTurk school
Third Eye 3D (Three-Dimensional) Installation Exhibition was arranged by PakTurk International Schools and Colleges. Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Sadik Babur Girgin was the guest of honour at the event. Karınca Yuvası (Ant Nest) from Turkish designers to Bangladeshi orphans
Eleven designers came together at a recent charity event coordinated by fashion designer Esra Seziş and actor Taylan Güner. There, they made a unanimous decision that each designer would create three pieces for auction, the revenue from which would be donated to orphans in need. They called this pact Karınca Yuvası (Ant Nest). The intention was sincere, and the results were magnificent.
TUSKON brings together businesswomen from Turkey, Russia
The Confederation of Turkish Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON) organized a meeting in Moscow on Thursday that brought together businesswomen from Russia and Turkey as part of its attempts to establish closer economic ties between the two countries. A new Turkish Cultural Center launched in Kiev
A new Turkish cultural center has been launched under the umbrella of Ukraine’s nearly two-century-old National Pedagogical Dragomanov University. The center has been brought to life with the cooperation of International Meridian Educational Institutions and National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, under the auspices of Turkey’s Embassy to Kiev, Consultancy to Ministry of Culture and the company, Anex Tour.
Kimse Yok Mu’s Eid al-Adha worldwide aid efforts continue
Kimse Yok Mu Foundation gave away Eid al-Adha meat to the needy in Venezuela’s largest slum, Petare, in the capital Caracas. The foundation’s volunteers who reached out to over 3,500 families were well received by the inhabitants. Malian Ministers attended the Eid al-Adha aid event co-organized by Kimse Yok Mu Foundation and the local Malian-Turkish Horizon Schools.
A notable award for Mongolian-Turkish schools
At a ceremony recently held at Sunjin Grand Hotel in the capital, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s 50 most effective institutions were presented their awards. In recognition of their achievements and contributions, Empathy Educational Institutions, active for about 20 years in Mongolia, were honored with “Top Standard” award among the most effective institutions.
