The Turkish Cultural Center of Westchester is making an effort to collect blankets and coats for refugees who have fled Syria for Turkey due to the violence in Syria. The effort is to help Syrian refugee families in need during the harsh winter weather that will soon be upon them.
The İstanbul Governor’s Office has not yet granted permission to the Kimse Yok Mu charity, which aimed to raise TL 7,275,000 in aid for the families of security personnel who died during the fight against terror, despite having sent a proposal to the governor’s office over a month ago, Kimse Yok Mu President İsmail Cingöz said on Tuesday.
Turkish charity Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anyone There?) has been invited to attend the Global Consultation, a meeting being held at the International Conference Centre (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland between Oct. 14-16 to negotiate proposals concerning humanitarian aid that will serve as a basis for the World Humanitarian Summit scheduled for May 2016.
In spite of smear campaigns targeting it for two years and the government attempting to prevent it from continuing with its charitable works, the Kimse Yok Mu foundation successfully delivered aid to families in nearly 30 countries for last week’s Eid al-Adha holiday.
Turkey-based charitable organization, Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anyone There?), which has been a target of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) government’s unwarranted smear campaigns, represented Turkey as a nongovernmental organization at a UN summit that ran from Friday through Sunday.
Kimse Yok Mu, one of the biggest charity organizations in Turkey, just like every, this year also did not forget those who need in Mongolia. The meat of the cattle, which were sacrificed in some parts of Mongolia on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha, was distributed to Mongolian families by volunteers of Kimse Yok Mu.
Turkish charity Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There?) a Turkey-based humanitarian aid organization will participate in the 2015 Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Annual Meeting in New York City September 26–29, which will be hosted by former US President Bill Clinton, and Clinton Foundation Vice Chair Chelsea Clinton.
