Fethullah Gulen’s Message of Condolences for Senator John McCain

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Senator John McCain, a dedicated public servant and a statesman committed to his principles.
During this sad occasion, I would like to express my gratitude for his lifelong commitment to serving his country and promoting human rights. Senator McCain has consistently spoken out against torture against prisoners of war and has advocated ensuring freedom for all. His moral standing has set an example for future generations.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones at this difficult time and to the people of Arizona and the United States who mourn him. May God give patience and perseverance to them.
First of all, though it is not a major issue, none of us believes that Gulen was behind the coup. It is convenient for Erdogan to blame his principal opponent because it will facilitate the arrests of any and all opponents not linked to the actual coup by claiming that they are Gulenists.

Arab world should embrace the Gülen model
According to Algerian author, Professor Mohammed Babaammi if the Arab world embraces the Gülen model, it will be able to find a cure the problems it has had for centuries. “In fact I believe that the Arab world would embrace such model as it is coming from people who share the same belief and geography with Arabs,” he said.
