Kimse Yok Mu Foundation, which has launched an aid campaign for the Ugandans in need as of Ramadan month, extended its hands to the country’s police department as well.
As a part of its Ramadan activities, the foundation provided humanitarian aid to the police in the capital Kampala. Aid packages containing staples such as flour, bean, tea and sugar were distributed by KYM volunteers.
As an expression of his feelings, a police officer Ibrahim Saiga said they deeply appreciated the meaningful assistance of KYM. Saiga said they considered the aid out of abundance of Ramadan and appreciated that Turkish people have organized such a campaign miles away in Uganda.
The foundation’s humanitarian aid activities are scheduled to continue across the country throughout the month of Ramadan.

Abuja – The House of Representatives on Tuesday urged the Federal Government to quickly intervene and ensure the rescue of 50 Nigerian students detained by Turkish government. According to Rep. Aminu Suleiman, the Turkish Ambassador in Nigeria had requested the Nigerian authorities to close down 17 Turkish schools in Nigeria for alleged link with Hizmet movement.
Child victims to be affected by smear campaign against KYM
The smear campaign conducted by the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) government against Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There) — a charity run by the Hizmet movement inspired by prominent Turkish scholar Fethullah Gülen — will affect the children, including victims of sexual assault, staying in the Women’s Shelter of Tacloban City in the Philippines.
Kimse Yok Mu supports the orphan in Chad
Kimse Yok Mu Foundation, which has been running humanitarian aid project globally, particularly in the African Continent, continues to support the orphanage in the capital city N’Djamena in Chad. At a joint event with Chad Itimad Turkish Foundation, The Fahrettin Bulut Orphanage, home to a large number of orphans, received one year of food supply.

“Kimse Yok Mu has been very active in Africa providing humanitarian and development assistance. State-level or diplomatic presence has occasionally followed the NGO presence in Africa,” Cevik told SES Türkiye.
