Students from 32 countries participate in international cultural festival in Cambodia

The second annual international language and cultural festival in Cambodia on March 23rd has drawn the participation of students from 32 countries who are studying at Zaman International School in Cambodia.
Art performances and pavilions on the traditional cultures of 32 countries aimed to promote friendship among nations. Entrance ticket fees were for charity activities in Cambodia.
Ongoing political raids against schools and businesses are unconstitutional
Inspectors from the tax, finance, fire, social security, environment and urbanization, food, agriculture and husbandry bureaus were brought to the school with Smuggling and Organized Crime Police while the students were in session. Such raids have occurred repeatedly across the educational institutions’ branches, along with other schools, on an almost daily basis.

“It is a matter of life and death for us and our children. We will not allow anybody to cast an evil eye on this school,” said a woman, whose two children student in the school in Khairpur. She also appealed to the government to not to slaughter “one of the best schools” at the expense of politics.
