The Queens Turkish Cultural Center, organized the 10th annual Ramadan Tent to serve free food at the time of iftar

A cleric from the local community gave a heartfelt message to the invitees.
The hosts opened the event to followers of all faiths, including Jews, Hindus and Christians.
Sufi music, authentic Turkish food and good company. The guests couldn’t ask for more.

Over the past decade, the center has committed its resources to strengthening ties in the community. Residents in Queens told me they’re pleased to come to an event where they enjoyed a delicious dinner and made new friends.

Kimse Yok Mu opens school for Syrian children
A protocol signed between the Arbil Governorate and the aid organization in November, the school, which has 12 classrooms and 1,000 square meters of space, was built in the region of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) for refugees who fled Syria. The school will be administered under the Arbil Governorate, according to information obtained from the Ankara office of Kimse Yok Mu.

Nigerian Turkish International Colleges Foundation (NTIC Foundation) has started distributing 13,000 learning aids to underprivileged students. The project is known as “I Support a Child’s Education”.
