Turkish Cultural Center New Hampshire is a non-profit organization that aims to respond to social and cultural needs of Turkish Americans and to promote cross-cultural awareness that is based on mutual respect and understanding of the Turkish Culture within New Hampshire by bringing everyone together in an open dialog.

Ramadan Tent brings faiths together in Virginia

American Turkish Friendship Association (ATFA) held its annual Ramadan Tent on July 17-19 this year. The tent stayed up in the parking lot of Unity of Fairfax Church for 3 consecutive days and hosted approximately around 750 people each evening over Iftar Dinner. Asm. Kenneth Plum appreciates ATFA’s efforts to bring together people from different faiths and cultures.

Gülen’s speech broadcast live for first time after website banned

A speech by Turkish Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen, who lives in Pennsylvania in self-imposed exile, was broadcast live on YouTube and a number of stations for the first time on Sunday, after Turkey’s state-controlled Internet watchdog blocked access to herkul.org, a website that previously was used to broadcast his speeches.

Turkish charities dedicate well in Uganda to James Foley
