Fethullah Gülen’s Message of Condolences for Those Who Lost Their Lives During Gaza Protests

I am shocked and deeply saddened by the outbreak of violence on the Gaza border, which resulted in the death of more than 50 and injury of thousands more.
I urge Israel to stop shooting at civilians and to respect the right to peaceful protest. The protection of civilians and children should be ensured to prevent more casualties. This incident only reinforces the need to raise the social consciousness all around the world so that every human life is valued equally and every person is committed to the dignity of all members of the human family.
I extend my deepest condolences to the victims’ families and loved ones, and I pray for the quick recovery of the injured. I pray to God, the Most Compassionate, to lead the world to days of peace and tranquility when people can live with mutual understanding and respect.
In Pennsylvania, Gülen and his aides scrambled to denounce the coup attempt as it unfolded. “As someone who suffered under multiple military coups during the past five decades, it is especially insulting to be accused of having any link to such an attempt,” Gülen said in a statement, referring to Turkey’s spotty democratic history. The U.S. also was quick to condemn the coup attempt, but not quick enough for many in the Turkish government and media.
A Symphony of Compassion
God calls us to make music in our world; to perform in a global symphony of compassion. If each human being lived by the law of compassion, what a wonderful world this would be! I can’t help but think that this is God’s plan for us.It is Fethullah Gulen who coined the phrase, “A Symphony of Compassion.” Those who walk the path of compassion bring the music of divine energy into our everyday lives.
Hopefully the Gulen movement will help change the American values
