The Eskişehir Samanyolu Gülbahar Anatolian High School, whose students won two gold, three silver and two bronze medals, has ranked first in the Infomatrix Asia and Pacific Olympics held in Kazakhstan.
A total of 1,500 projects, which were developed by students from 33 countries in five categories, were in competition for medals in the Olympics.
Students of the Eskişehir Samanyolu Gülbahar Anatolian High School — inspired by the Gülen or Hizmet movement that is based on teachings of Turkish Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen — won medals in the Hardware Control, Computer Art and Robotic categories. Ayşe Beyza Abacı won a gold medal in the Robotic category, while Fatma Aygül Keskin won a gold medal in the Hardware Control category.
I will start on high-note. The Hizmet movement is not a cult. The participants of the Hizmet movement are not terrorist. The Hizmet movement philosophy does not encourage any form of violence, let alone coup plotting. The Hizmet movement is anchored on love, tolerance, and peaceful co-existence.

It would be a good start to ask who is going to have priority in the country: Is it the people or the state? Once you put the people at the center, rather than the state, then you have to accept that no way of life can be imposed on people.

Just after another Gülen-inspired school was raided by the police in the southern province of Gaziantep on Monday, private schools established by the volunteers from the Hizmet Movement were raided in the western province of İzmir on Tuesday morning.
