Turkish charity dedicates well in Africa to brutally killed Özgecan Aslan
The Turkish charity organization Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There?) constructed in a small town in one of Africa's poorest countries, Chad, dedicated to the memory of Özgecan Aslan, who was brutally murdered in Mersin province on Feb. 11.

The well was built in Mandelia town near Chad’s capital N’Djamena. Constructed with the support of Kimse Yok Mu, the well will supply clean drinking water to thousands of women who previously were hauling their water on foot for miles.
20-year-old university student Özgecan Aslan was brutally murdered and then doused in gasoline and set on fire in the southern city of Mersin on Feb. 11. The missing woman’s charred body was discovered two days later, and the grisly murder evoked rage and condemnation from all quarters of Turkey.
Aslan’s murder shook Turkey to its core, resulting in nationwide mourning with protests in cities all over the country.
Özgecan Aslan was laid to rest on Feb. 14 with a ceremony that was attended by an estimated 5,000 mourners in Mersin.
Kimse Yok Mu sends aid materials with 24 trucks for Syrian refugees
Emin Çalhanoğlu, an official from the Kimse Yok Mu told Cihan news agency that aid material that was delivered for the refugees has valued at TL 60 million so far and they will continues their humanitarian aid efforts.

Kimse Yok Mu Foundation, with a record of charitable efforts in 113 countries around the world, has enabled African girls to go to school with the water wells it has established across the continent. These girls had to carry water from miles away and thus were unable to go to school. The foundation’s 1735 water wells in 20 different countries across the African continent have been serving some 3 million locals. Additionally, it reached out to 65,000 orphans in 50 countries.
Kimse Yok Mu helps 2 mln people across the world during Ramadan
Turkish charity association Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There?), which has operational activities in 113 countries around the world and 31 branches in Turkey, is planning to reach out to more than 2 million people worldwide by providing hot food at iftars (fast-breaking dinners) during the holy month of Ramadan.
No better gift for Nigerien orphans
Kimse Yok Mu Foundation, which has been giving off Ramadan joy with the slogan “Fill up your umbrella of mercy with the abundance of sharing” in 110 countries on 5 continents, lifted up this time the orphans in the Nigerien capital Niamey.
