Kimse Yok Mu receives a letter of appreciation from Uganda’s Office of the Prime Minister on October 3, 2014 for the aid it extended during and after disasters. The letter said:
“On behalf of the Government of Uganda, through the Ministry of Disaster preparedness and Refugees and on my own behalf, permit me to express our appreciation to KIMSE YOK MU for the support it has extended and continues to extend to Uganda through Nile Humanitarioan Development Agency, in form of relief support during disasters, for example, the Bududa landslides where KIMSE YOK MU generously contributed towards the support of the affected communities.”
The letter also appreciated meat distribution during the Feast of Sacrifice (Eid Al-Adha) to both Muslim and non-Muslim communities.
The letters was signed, on behalf of the PM’s Office, by the Minister of State for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees.

Professors said that Hizmet is an anti-violence group that uses education and dialogue to achieve its goals. Dr. Amidu Olalekan Sanni, Lagos State University, Nigeria: “I think the Hizmet group has been very influential in terms of human development, basically in the area of education and health. The first Hizmet university is actually based in the Nigerian capital of Abuja.”

Kenneth Hunter is the Principal of the Prosser Career Academy High School. He studied theology at Chicago Loyola University and taught world religions in high schools. He served as the chairperson of Illinois State Board of Education Language Arts Assessment Advisory Council (2002-2012). He is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Chicago.
Gülen issues condolence message for Iraqi victims of ISIL
Turkish-Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen has sent a message of condolence to the families of the victims of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorist organization in Iraq and he has condemned ISIL’s violence. Gülen’s statement, which addressed Kurdish, Turkmen, Arab, Yazidi, Shiite and Sunni families in Iraq, was published in the leading newspapers of Iraq’s Kurdish region such as Rudaw, Hawlati, Basnews, Kürdistany Nwe, Xebat and Çawder.

Having lost their all to the typhoon, the infant’s once well-off parents had come to KYM team’s Tacloban facility and pleaded for help.
