Kimse Yok Mu receives a letter of appreciation from Uganda’s Office of the Prime Minister on October 3, 2014 for the aid it extended during and after disasters. The letter said:
“On behalf of the Government of Uganda, through the Ministry of Disaster preparedness and Refugees and on my own behalf, permit me to express our appreciation to KIMSE YOK MU for the support it has extended and continues to extend to Uganda through Nile Humanitarioan Development Agency, in form of relief support during disasters, for example, the Bududa landslides where KIMSE YOK MU generously contributed towards the support of the affected communities.”
The letter also appreciated meat distribution during the Feast of Sacrifice (Eid Al-Adha) to both Muslim and non-Muslim communities.
The letters was signed, on behalf of the PM’s Office, by the Minister of State for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees.

During the program Dialogue and Peace Awards were given in various categories to the people who served for dialogue and peace recently in Nigeria.
Health Screening in Haiti
Embrace Relief and White Tulip Health Foundation organized a health screening at an orphanage in Haiti. Five volunteer doctors from Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey donated their time by traveling to Haiti and providing both orphanage residents and nonresidents with basic health screenings.
309 Somali students come to Turkey for education
İbrahim thanked the Turkish people and the government for their support and said that there is a particular need for education in Somalia. Kimse Yok Mu has done much for the country, İbrahim added, and he said that he has faith that aid will continue in the future.
The Hizmet Movement: ‘Terrorist’ or Terrorised?
In the end, when analysing this most recent coup attempt, and judging the Hizmet movement or Fethullah Gulen’s involvement comes down to the simple fact that Hizmet activity revolves around education, charity and dialogue, and underpinning all of its work are love, compassion, equality and positive engagement. Essentially, this is epitomised in the fact that the turkish word ‘Hizmet’ literally means ‘service’.
Iftar Dinner at Manhattan’s Riverside Church

The Iftar had more than 250 guests from very diverse cultures and religions. The program began with a welcome speech by Reverend Chloe Breyer and representatives of each organization.
Turkish humanitarian NGO has cured 30,000 cataract sufferers
Kimse Yok Mu, a Turkish NGO delivering humanitarian aid around the world, has so far cured 30,180 people suffering from cataracts in Sudan, Chad, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo and Niger as of September 2014. Kimse Yok Mu’s cataract campaign seeks to eventually cure hundreds of thousands in the area.
