Kimse Yok Mu’s volunteer doctors on their way for Africa

Kimse Yok Mu Foundation unceasingly continues its medical aid efforts for Africa. Joined by its volunteer doctors with an age average under 50, the foundation is set to provide medical assistance for Tanzanians starting from August 29 thru September 7. In cooperation with the Istanbul-based Ufuk Doctors’ Foundation (UHEK), the volunteers will focus mainly on surgeries. The medical team consists of 15 doctors, one nurse and two coordinators. The doctors will volunteer in gynecology, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, in particular, and neurology, dentistry, family practice, psychiatry and psychology departments.

UHEK’s 45-member medical team performed 10 thousand examinations and 200 surgeries over the past year. They have listed the medications and departments needed for a more thorough work. The team intends to do more surgeries, examinations and medication distribution this year and train the local doctors as well.

Ramadan aid cheers up Sudanese orphans

Sudan is the country of children left orphaned due to civil war. Millions of Sudanese at hunger threshold are smiling at least a little thanks to aid from NGOs like Kimse Yok MU during Ramadan. In addition to another centrally-located orphanage’s renovation, KYM also seeks to finance orphans’ shelter and food needs. The orphans here are studying at a public school while they receive hafiz training from Sheikh Hasan Abdullah.

Gov’t cancels Kimse Yok Mu’s previously obtained permissions

Following an abrupt Cabinet decision to remove the status of public interest of Kimse Yok Mu, the largest volunteer and global aid organization based in Turkey, the government has also cancelled the charity’s previously obtained permissions to collect donation until the end of this year.
