A delegation from Cameroon, including Prime Minister Philemong Yang’s wife, were in the Turkish province Bursa, in order to share experiences of Kimse Yok Mu (KYM) for their future projects. The delegation had meetings with KYM officials, as a part of a newly founded charitable foundation in Cameroon. They seek benefiting from KYM’s experiences and using them in their charity work. They were pleased with the warm reception and KYM Bursa director Sadullah Hizan’s presentation on the foundation’s work.
PM’s wife Linda Yang said they intend to follow KYM’s footsteps. “We see that you’re perfectly practicing what you just told us about. Your volunteers are amazing. They are working expecting nothing in return,” Yang said. She additionally thanked Bursa people for donating for the 16 water wells that were made available in Cameroon during the last Eid al-Adha. The delegation invited the KYM officials to Cameroon and demanded orphanages and fountains for their country.
Their next stop will be Istanbul where they will make several visits and attend particular events before their departure.

Former Filipino deputy: Great that we have Kimse Yok Mu
Speaking at the first anniversary of the Haiyan typhoon, the most devastating one in the Philippines’ history, the former Filipino deputy Chua thanked Kimse Yok Mu for its aid and relief efforts. “Great that we have you and Turkey. On behalf of my country, I would like to thank KYM. You’ve never left us alone since the very first day. Many organizations left here after two weeks but you didn’t.” Chua said.

As Turkey’s all-inclusive civil society organization, the Hizmet movement, which has always advocated human rights and freedom, adopted democracy, worked to make the state more transparent and accountable, supported Turkey’s accession to the EU and its integration into the world, has become a target.
Pro-Erdoğan journalist: Gülen followers should be kept in detention camps, given food tickets
Cemil Barlas, a staunch supporter of Tayyip Erdoğan and commentator for the pro-government A Haber TV, said during a program that followers of the Gülen movement, which the government accuses of being behind a failed coup on July 15, must be kept in detention camps and should be given food tickets.
Hate discourse directed against Hizmet movement
It is impossible not to see the polarization among the people over the upcoming presidential elections; this polarization raises serious concerns. It is also possible to consider the verbal attacks and violence against the Hizmet movement in the context of the literature on politicide and genocide. However, not only the Hizmet movement will suffer from repressive-hegemonic politicide. The entire country of Turkey will be hurt by this.

The investigations against Kimse Yok Mu (KYM) Foundation, among the 100 most active NGOs around the world, on the ground that it’s an armed terrorist organization continue to draw reaction.
