As part of their Hunger Relief program, Embrace Relief administers qurban organizations all over the world to bring joy to the table of people in need, while helping Muslims take care of their religious obligations.
In 2015, qurban donations have been distributed amongst Bangladesh, Dominic Republic, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Turkey, Uganda and the United States. This year, qurban donations will be distributed to those in need in the United States, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
Embrace Relief and partner organizations ensure that animals are slaughtered and processed in a clean and safe manner according to industry standards.
According to the World Health Organization there are 153 million children suffering from growth deficiency in developing countries. Meat and animal products are necessary for children in order to grow properly because of the protein, minerals, and vitamins they contain. With its qurban organization, Embrace Relief distributed approximately 350,000 lbs of qurban meat across the globe last year.
“Now it’s easier than ever to donate and keep track of your donations with our new qurban website. By registering with an account, you can print your own donation letter, and keep track of all your Embrace Relief donations in just one place,” Embrace Relief officials say.
“By this way, We wish to extend our sincere thanks on behalf of those beneficiaries of this significant donation, which is a big symbol of solidarity.
Reiterating you our infinite thanks and we hope that this noble action will continue, Mr. President, please accept expression of our deep gratitude.
“Uganda and me in particular, being the Minister in charge of Relief, Refugees and Disaster Preparedness is very much gratified to have such a big and generous offer of 284 cows from your organization, which totaled to 25,560 kilograms of meat when slaughtered.”
“I would like to thank Embrace Relief for the donation of a total of 9,680kg of meat which am advised was distributed to one thousand nine hundred and thirty six (1,936) families in Nairobi between the 24th and 27th of September, 2015.”

Fethullah Gulen’s Message of Condolences and Condemnation for Terrorist Attack Against Mosque in Egypt
This terrorist attack that took place during a prayer on a Friday, a sacred day for Muslims, shows that the curse of terrorism has no respect for anything sacred, whether a church or mosque. Islam cannot be related to any such murderous acts. A true Muslim cannot be a terrorist and a terrorist cannot be a true Muslim.

Once lauded as model, Turkey’s Africa initiative loses momentum
One of the main reasons behind the loss of momentum in Turkey’s once-intense efforts to boost relations with African states is the Turkish government’s effort to win domestic battles at any cost. In one such attempt, the Turkish government started to work on a plan to get states to close down Turkish schools abroad that are affiliated with the Hizmet movement, which is inspired by the teachings of Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen and known as one of Turkey’s most important soft-power instruments.
‘We see in Mr. Gulen a man teaching God’s words’
As an educator I may be a bit biased, but I think the focus on education that we see in Hizmet, that we see in Gulen and his teachings and his being, that focus on education which is critical to the work of Hizmet is itself the most critical work that can be done in this age.
