Kimse Yok Mu soup kitchen to serve weekly hot meal in Somalia

MOGADISHU

The international aid and relief foundation Kimse Yok Mu, which has been active in Somalia with its permanent aid efforts for quite some time, has launched its weekly hot meal service in the capital city Mogadishu. One thousand needy people, approximately, are anticipated to benefit from the service every Friday.

A large number of people showed up at the inaugural service last Friday. Mogadishu families in need enjoyed the hot meal and fruits served in hygienic conditions after a long time.
In cooperation with Somalia’s Ministry of Social Welfare and hosted by Hodan municipality, the initiative will continue throughout the year. The target is 50 thousand needy by the end of the year. Security forces on the scene will coordinate recipient families during the distribution.

Debaray, Hodan Mayor, in his address, expressed his pleasure to host an organization of this nature. He said people in need of such aid number thousands across the country and thanked Kimse Yok Mu for its contributions.
