Excitement has begun for the Turkish Language Olympics, the pride of Turkey. The Iraq qualifications for the Turkish Language Olympics has been held in Viranşehir, Şanlıurfa.
30 students from the Turkish schools in the north of Iraq left the audience at the Viranşehir Indoor Hall awestruck with the rendition they came up with. The night started with one minute of silence and the national anthem. The Iraqi students enthused the audience with their folk dances and songs, and the folk songs they sang in Kurdish received standing ovation from the packed hall. The students were also fascinated by the interest shown in them.
The governor of Şanlıurfa Celattin Güvenç awarded the businessmen of Viranşehir who organized the night with plaques. Güvenç said he was proud of the teachers, their families who raised those children.
Int’l language and culture festival ends with spectacular ceremony in Germany
A message from well-known Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen who inspired the Hizmet Movement was also recited at the ceremony. “At a time when rage, hatred and war prevail in different places of the world, some people see path to science, love and peace as far away. However, as it is said in a Japanese proverb ‘If you have a good friend with you, no way is far to you’, said the message. Gülen also expressed his special thanks to German people for hosting the festival.
Nigeria Turkish College to Host Language, Culture Festival
The Nigeria Turkish International Colleges (NTIC) will play host to Hizmet Movement for the 14th edition of the Festival of Language and Culture tagged “Colours of the World” to promote and showcase notable cultures in Nigeria.

The languages, faiths, colors, countries or flags of the two thousand Turkish Olympiads participant students who hyped up millions in 55 cities and on tens of TV channels were different. Yet, they shared the common mission to build a new world filled with love.
