The International Festival of Language and Culture visits UN, Ban Ki Moon sends a message

The International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC), which is a Gulen-inspired organization, was at United Nations headquarters in New York on April 29, 2016. 80 students from many different countries showcased their talents at UN ECOSOC hall. The UN web TV broadcasted the performances live.
Mr. Ban Ki Moon, UN Secretary General, sent a message to IFLC. “I am delighted to greet the International Festival on Language and Culture. I commend the Peace Islands Institute for making this meeting possible and bringing young people from 27 countries together to discuss and celebrate our cultural and linguistic diversity,” Ban said in his message.
IFLC has been organized in more than 30 countries this year and more than 2500 students from 160 countries have represented their countries with music and folk dances.
Albania is on the floor singing a lovely Albanian song.
The first Iftar Dinner of 2016 was given at the United Nations by Peace Islands Institute and the Journalists & Writers Foundation. The Iftar dinner gathered members of different faith communities to give a message of peace, harmony, and solidarity to the whole world. Despite conflicts and violence extremism that are happening around the world, faith communities stand united together as One celebrating the traditions of fating in different religions.

Turkish school in Philippines partners in a social project
The project aims to rehabilitate the regions academically and socially lagging behind the rest and assist children’s education in particular. Parents: Pak-Turk institutions’ control should not be transferred
Pak-Turk International’s Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) on Tuesday stressed against transferring the institutions’ control to other organisations as it will affect the future of its 1500 teachers’ future along with 10,000 students enrolled in 28 schools, colleges. The spokesman urged that if the government found any one from these schools involved in illegal practices, it should take strict action against him.
