Hagi serves baklava to ‘Colors of the World’ in Romania
Students, arriving at Romania for International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC), visited the legendary football name Gheorghe Hagi, at his club building in Constanta, on Saturday.

Students, arriving at Romania for International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC), visited the legendary football name Gheorghe Hagi, at his club building in Constanta, on Saturday.
Remarking with warm and cheerful attitude towards students, Hagi greeted them one by one and served ‘baklava’ (a Turkish delight) which he called ‘legal doping’. The students took many photos and got shirts signed for their teachers with the Romanian star.
IFLC continues to bring together continents and cultures. The Romanian leg of the festival, which was attended by 2.500 students from 150 countries, with the slogan ‘Colors of the World’ will be held in the next days. Students also make tours and visits in Romania.

Burc Schools achieve 13 medals in AMC 8
350 thousand students, in total, from 6000 schools around the world participated in this year’s AMC 8, recognized as the world’s most prestigious math contest involving middle schoolers. Among the participating Turkish schools, Adana Burc Schools’ students achieved a notable success by winning 13 medals. Turkey, South Korea, China, US, Canada, Russia and Taiwan constitute the award winning countries in the event.
