The kids are from countries all over the world here to participate in the Raindrop Foundations 4th annual International Festival of language and culture at the Hobby Center, February 6th. The kids are from Mexico ,France ,Georgia ,Brazil, Germany, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Senegal, Tunisia,and Ukraine . We we’re so glad to show you around and it was a pleasure meeting you all!
Liberian Turkish Light International School Organizes Math Competition
In an effort to promote students’ enthusiasm for mathematics and the sciences, the Liberian Turkish Light International School has launched a math competition for nearly 200 students in 150 elementary schools in Monrovia. Mr. Huseyin Fatih BABA, principal of the Liberian- Turkish school told reporters that the program was his institution’s contribution to building the educational system of Liberia.
Hizmet schools win 64 out of 120 TÜBİTAK medals despite gov’t pressure
İstanbul’s Fatih Koleji, Ankara’s Samanyolu and Atlantik Schools and İzmir’s Yamanlar Schools, which have been put under pressure by the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) government, picked up 64 medals out of 120 on Wednesday in the 22nd National Science Olympiad and the 19th National Mathematics Olympiad for primary and secondary schools.

Pakistan plans to expel Turkish teachers linked to opposition at home
Mohammed Aqeel, 24, who attended the Peshawar school and now teaches there, called the visa cancellations “a shameful event” that had compromised Pakistan’s independence and damaged its educational standards. “There is no foreign ideology here,” he said. “I love this school. It grooms us to be good human beings as well as students.”

Lao deputy education minister grateful to Turkish schools
Lao deputy minister of education Lytou Bouapao commended the local Turkish schools, two-time recipient of the national medal. Noting that he knows the schools very closely as his child is also studying at one of them, he expressed his thanks to the teachers and authorities for the high quality education they are offering.
