Turkish PM calls on Islamic scholar Gülen to return to Turkey
Self-exiled Islamic leader Fethullah Gülen should return to Turkey, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan suggested last night without directly mentioning the controversial religious figure by name. “We want this yearning to end,” Erdoğan said. “We want to see those who are abroad and longing for the homeland among us.” Erdoğan’s remarks came after he was granted […]
Ramadan aid cheers up Sudanese orphans
Sudan is the country of children left orphaned due to civil war. Millions of Sudanese at hunger threshold are smiling at least a little thanks to aid from NGOs like Kimse Yok MU during Ramadan. In addition to another centrally-located orphanage’s renovation, KYM also seeks to finance orphans’ shelter and food needs. The orphans here are studying at a public school while they receive hafiz training from Sheikh Hasan Abdullah.

Expert’s opinion: Turkey’s Demanding Extradition Of Fethullah Gülen Is Frivolous Grandstanding
Although ordinarily I respect his cool-headedness and self-control, in hindsight I wish President Obama had been equally blunt in responding to President Erdoğan’s demands that the US extradite Fethullah Gülen. All of his demands, beginning in 2014 and vigorously renewed in the wake of the July 15 attempted coup, have been completely illegitimate and unfair.
