Afghan Turk schools gained great success at university exam

KABUL, Students from Afghan Turk schools scored a victory at university entrance examination in the country and 30 students were able to be ranked on top 100 at the exam, a success which was observed in the previous years as well.
Out of 231,000 students taking the exam, 139,000 of them got the passing grade. Nilüfer Alim, studying at Afghan Turk Girls High School, was ranked second at the exam.
Holding a press conference in Kabul, officials from Afghan Turk schools stated that 30 students studying at those schools were ranked on top 100 at the exam and granted right to enter best universities.
Minister of Education Huseyin Celik said that Turkish Schools in Kazakhstan are bringing to life the educational dreams of Nazarbayev. Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbaev rather quickly defused the problem with Turkey by making a visit to Ankara to meet with President Erdogan. Nazarbaev did not agree to close down the Gulen schools in Kazakhstan, but he did promise to carefully scrutinize those running the schools and those teaching in them.
Pak-Turk schools won’t close, says Education Minister
“The government will neither close down Pak-Turk schools in the country nor will it hand them over to anyone,” announced the Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Baligh Ur Rehman. According to the minister, Pak-Turk schools are registered with the relevant Pakistani authorities and therefore, they will continue to operate in the country.
