Turkish NGO “Kimse Yok Mu” Association sent 150 truck laden aid to Syrians sheltered in southeastern Turkey.
NGO official Celal Turkoglu told AA correspondent that they handed out the aid to Syrians who took sanctuary in Turkey but not sheltered in camps, as part of the “Bread and Blanket for Syrians” campaign.
He said there were around 7000-8000 people close to Turkey border living in tents and they try to support them by sending transportable toilets, baths and generators.
Turkoglu said the most needed aid materials were food and cleaning/hygiene products.
Kimse Yok Mu is a Turkish charity and its name means “Is anybody there?” in Turkish.
Turkey pledges to help rebuild Bosnia after floods
The Turkish relief organization Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anyone There) has also provided assistance. Yusuf Yıldırım, manager of their international aid department, said they are working closely with municipalities in Bosnia and their partner association in Bosnia, Izvor Nade (Spring of Hope), to ensure the aid is distributed directly to the people in need.
Turkish school shelters locals in earthquake-hit Nepal
The Meridian International School in the Nepali capital of Kathmandu, founded by Turkish businessmen and educators in 2002, has opened up its premises to locals after the city was hit by a powerful earthquake on Saturday that killed thousands, with several thousand others injured and seeking medical treatment and help.
Kimse Yok Mu holds iftar dinner for Bosnian orphans
KYM has been active in Bosnia for some time. The foundation gave away scholarships in the amount of 50 thousand dollar in April. Besides, the children received clothing aid. The foundation also provided both monetary assistance and eight-truck load of basic needs in the aftermath of the recent flooding disaster.
Kimse Yok Mu opens school in Afghanistan
The former vice-president of Afghanistan Prof. Nematullah Shahrani, in his address, said, “Afghan-Turk schools have been serving our country for long years and listed among best schools ever since. Students at these schools are receiving a quality education and representing Afghanistan at international contests in the best way possible.”
Kimse Yok Mu and Tuna Foundation lifting up Romanian orphans’ spirit
Kimse Yok Mu Foundation in cooperation with the local Tuna Foundation gave away donations of clothing and food to the children of an orphanage in the Romanian capital Bucharest. The two foundations joined together to reach out to a total of 270 orphans including those with mental disorders.

Turkey’s leading charity, Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There), has delivered electric wheelchairs to 25 handicapped Palestinians in Hebron, a Palestinian city located in the southern West Bank.
