Kimse Yok Mu provides water to 50,000 people in Pakistan

The Turkish charitable organization Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There) has dug 22 wells in various parts of Pakistan to help people meet their need for potable water.
Many people do not have access to fresh drinking water for such reasons as drought, lack of infrastructure and internal conflict. Kimse Yok Mu has dug 10 wells in Balochistan province, 11 in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and one in Punjab province since July that now provide drinking water to 50,000 people.
According to Kimse Yok Mu, there are contaminated water sources in around 200 settlements as both animals and people share the same water, causing illness. The organization is planning to provide wells in these areas as well to prevent death and disease due to contaminated water.

Pak Turk Schools employees in UN protection after visa extensions turned down
As many as 108 Turkish employees of the Pak Turk Schools, along with their families, have been in the United Nations’ protection after Pakistani authorities denied them an extension in their visas to work in the country. The applicants had told UNHCR they feared arrest, coercion and torture by the Erdogan government in Turkey in case the Pakistani government forcibly deported them to Istanbul.

Afghan authorities have drafted a deal giving the Turkish government control of more than a dozen schools in Afghanistan affiliated with the exiled cleric Fethullah Gülen. Western and Afghan officials believe the agreement is part of a bargain allowing Afghanistan’s vice-president, Abdul Rashid Dostum, who has been accused of abducting and torturing a political rival, to seek exile in Turkey.
Turkey cooperating with Israel to help Gaza
Diplomatic sources confirmed that an official from the Turkish Red Crescent went to Israel to coordinate humanitarian aid to be sent to Gaza. “There is no other way to provide aid to Gaza,” said the sources on Thursday. Dismissing claims that the Turkish official will be negotiating a cease-fire between Israel and Gaza, sources said Turkey is only in contact with the officials from Hamas and the US regarding the Palestinian territory.
Kimse Yok mu delivers aid in Palestine during Eid al-Adha
The Turkish aid organization Kimse Yok Mu, which has become the latest target of the Justice and Development Party’s (AK Party) witch hunt, delivered aid in Palestine, including in Gaza, with approximately 100 volunteers from Turkey over the weekend.
