Kimse Yok Mu provides water to 50,000 people in Pakistan

The Turkish charitable organization Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There) has dug 22 wells in various parts of Pakistan to help people meet their need for potable water.
Many people do not have access to fresh drinking water for such reasons as drought, lack of infrastructure and internal conflict. Kimse Yok Mu has dug 10 wells in Balochistan province, 11 in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and one in Punjab province since July that now provide drinking water to 50,000 people.
According to Kimse Yok Mu, there are contaminated water sources in around 200 settlements as both animals and people share the same water, causing illness. The organization is planning to provide wells in these areas as well to prevent death and disease due to contaminated water.
Filipino military awards Turkish high school for peace initiatives
The Armed Forces of the Philippines have recognized the Filipino-Turkish Tolerance School in Zamboanga for their contribution to peace in the region. The award came after the Turkish high school in the Philippines gave support to people suffering from internal conflict in Mindanao, one of the islands of the Philippines, and provided 38,000 homeless people with humanitarian assistance.

This step has, however, not been welcomed by the affected schools. Officials of the schools have warned that the move would lead to closing the schools and damage the quality of education.
Kimse Yok Mu caring for Kyrgyz orphans
Kimse Yok Mu Foundation extended yet another helping hand to the orphan in Kyrgyzstan. The foundation received a group of them for an exclusive ceremony at the Ataturk-Alatoo University in the capital city Bishkek. The orphans were served dinner first and then watched the university students’ shows in their honor.

Turkish aid organization Kimse Yok Mu has been supplying medical aid to Guinea since March, when the lethal Ebola virus struck the West African country, claiming 122 lives to date.
