QUETTA: Pak-Turk International School and College, Quarry Road branch, pre-school section celebrated its graduation ceremony on Sunday with great enthusiasm. All the little angels actively participated in the function.
Each item presented by the little kids was a great source of entertainment. Director of the institution Kazim Kazilkaya and Principal Ms Soniya Irum also spoke on the occasion. Chief guest Member Provincial Assembly Mrs Yasmeen Lehri distributed the degrees to young graduates.
Pak-Turk International School and College is the only institution in Quetta where the students get modern education.
The schooling system should be launched in other districts of the province, so that more children could get education and increase the rate of literacy of the province. The Education department of the provincial government should also adopt this policy to educate the children of the province.

AK Party’s Deputy Günay joins intra-party opposition to prep school ban
Another deputy from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) has criticized a recent government plan to shut down prep schools, saying that these institutions are not the cause of problems in the education system but a consequence of the current system. Günay’s remarks come one day after the AK Party referred Kütahya deputy İdris Bal to the party’s disciplinary board for expulsion after he opposed the government’s plan to close prep schools.

Peshawar High Court halts government order to deport Pak-Turk school staff
Petitioner counsel Qazi Muhammad Anwar argued that all the Turkish teachers are very peaceful people who have committed no crime in Turkey as well as here in Pakistan.” He prayed the bench to suspend the federal government’s notice and stop deportation of the Turkish teachers and their families. The bench accepted the request and restrained the deportation of Pak-Turk schools’ staff.
Turkish schools organize the biggest science olympiads of Indonesia
The biggest science olympiads of Indonesia organized by Indonesian Turkish schools get huge attention. 980 projects around the country were submitted to the olympiads for the competition, but only 178 of them made it to the finals. 356 students who made it to the finals received as much attention for their colorful attires as they did for their projects.
