Kimse Yok Mu’s Ramadan packages for Filipino families

Kimse Yok Mu Foundation, in cooperation with the participating organizations and volunteers, keep bringing in Ramadan’s abundance to those in need around the world.
30 thousand Filipinos faced famine last year, due to terrorist attacks in the southern Philippines city Zamboanga. As a part of its Ramadan efforts, KYM joined by the local Turkish schools in the Philippines gave away Ramadan aid packages to some one thousand families in need in the region.
A Turkish school official Yasin Ayyildiz said, “We are able to feel the spirit of Ramadan abroad thanks to the iftar tents and aid packages in cooperation with KYM. With the Ramadan efforts, we are building bridges of friendship in the city that witnessed tragic events very recently.
Making up 10% of the 105 million-population, the Filipino Muslims mainly live in Mindanao Island in the southern Philippines.

Turkish school in Philippines partners in a social project
The project aims to rehabilitate the regions academically and socially lagging behind the rest and assist children’s education in particular. Inaugurating the project, an event took place seeing the attendance of International Fountain Schools general manager Malik Gencer, The Philippines Turkish Chamber of Commerce Irfan Karabulut, Pacific Dialog’s president for Philippines Cihangir Arslan and The Philippine Gendarmerie’s commander for civic operations Colonel Arnulfo Marcelo B. Burgos alongside numerous commanders and NGO officials.
Turkish aid group sending rescue team and disaster relief to Nepal
The Turkish humanitarian aid organization Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There) has announced that it has dispatched a search and rescue team to quake-stricken Nepal and also pledged TRY 100,000 in disaster relief.

Parents protest deportation of Pak-Turk School’s teachers, staff
Slamming the government’s decision of deporting Turkish teachers and staff from the country, parents said “Pak-Turk Schools were founded without any financial assistance of Turkey and Pakistani government but founded by the philanthropist donations of people of Pakistan and Turkey” adding that these schools were the property of Pakistani people.
Pak-Turk Schools react to baseless claims
Turkish Schools in Pakistan reacted to the recent claims that the schools will be nationalized. “The claims are entirely baseless without any merit,” the schools’ officials said.
