Students from West Africa gather at Turkish school in Senegal

DAKAR
Students from west African countries gathered in Senegal’s capital city of Dakar to join Math Olympiads which were organized by Turkish “Yavuz Selim Educational Institutions”.
Turkish Schools continuing to contribute to the educational system of the Dark Continent. “Yavuz Selim Educational Institutions which are operating in Senegal, organized Math Olympiads in Dakar with the participation of students from five neighboring countries.
Speaking at the award-giving ceremony, Senegalese authority responsible for university admission exams Baccalauréat’s director Babou Diaham said that this olympiads is an obvious evidence of how Turkish schools have a vital importance for Senegal.
Police raid schools in Diyarbakır where locals go on strike in protest of recent gov’t practices
Police officers and inspectors carried out raids on a number of schools inspired by the faith-based Gülen movement as part of a government-led operation against the movement in southeastern province of Diyarbakır, where people have gone on strike in protest of the government’s recent practices in the province.
