The Fountain Magazine has received an Award of Excellence in publication in the 25th APEX Awards. APEX awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence. The Fountain was granted the award in an intense competition of some 2,400 entries in 2013.

Annual APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is sponsored by Communications Concepts, Inc. Communications Concepts advises publishing, PR and marketing professionals on best practices to improve their publications and communications programs. APEX Awards have been organized for 25 years.

Published bimonthly and distributed throughout the world, the Fountain covers themes on life, belief, knowledge, and universe. It is known and always appreciated for its good work, faithful readers, and inquisitive authors who have been supporting it with constructive feedback and thoughtful contributions.

The Fountain covers a wide range of topics including interfaith dialogue, science, technology, arts, culture and society from a faith perspective (especially Islam). It promotes a holistic approach to universe and human nature believing that science and religion are not in conflict; rather, they are two faces of the same reality. The Fountain encourages critical thought and scientific inquiry on a wide range of topics: physical science, social science, ethics, education, literature, religion, and comparative studies. All topics are to be dealt with fairly and substantively, and articles are to be balanced and judicious.

The Fountain is an effort to try and see the reality through the veils of apparent causes and to obtain our share from each phenomenon, each of which is a letter enclosed with a message addressing us.

The Fountain published four issues a year until 2007; it’s been bimonthly since 2008. Articles published in the Fountain fall into major themes such as dialogue, humanities, science and belief.

The Fountain also organizes conferences and talks series in different countries such as “Ideal Human and Ideal Society in the Thoughts of M. Fethullah Gülen” in Lahore Pakistan on November 21, 2012, “Peacebuilding Through Education” on September 24, 2012 in New York, USA, “Establishing a culture of coexistence and mutual understanding” on November 18-19, 2011 in Abuja, Nigeria.
