Australian Relief Organisation awarded “Letter of Appreciation” by the Cambodian Ministry of Rural Development

Australian Relief Organisation (ARO) has been recently awarded a “Letter of Appreciation” by the Cambodian Ministry of Rural Development. ARO, with the donation supports, has established water wells in Cambodia that now provide drinkable water to over 25,000 locals on a daily basis.
ARO’s programs also included orphanage programs along with yearly food pack and dinner appeals to the needy. Since 2013, ARO’s partner in Cambodia, Mekong Charity, has played a crucial role in delivering humanitarian programs. ARO appreciates Mekong Charity’s role and shares credit with it. We look forward to your ongoing support towards our future charitable programs.

The Taraf daily ran a story arguing that the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) government planned to remove Kimse Yok Mu’s public interest status, which would prevent it from collecting donations. Dalai Lama praises sema at Turkish fest in New Delhi
Exiled Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama watched and praised a sema, or whirling dervish ceremony, during a Turkish festival which lasted from Friday to Sunday in New Delhi, promoting traditional Turkish arts and culture. The three-day festival was held for the first time last year, and this year it takes place in the popular Select Citywalk mall in New Delhi.
