Kimse Yok Mu holds iftar dinner for Bosnian orphans

Kimse Yok Mu Foundation recently held an exclusive event for the Bosnian orphans. Some 150 orphans from SOS village and Byelave Dormitory were received at Burch University in Sarajevo, where a special mime performance and iftar dinner were held in their honor. Director of the foundation Izvor Nade, KYM affiliate in Bosnia, Harun Tursan noted the event aimed to get the Bosnian orphans experience a special night. “We wanted to make a surprise for our children from SOS village and Byelave Dormitory. Tonight has been a follow-up to our past events. We intend to hold more charity events for our children. In addition to tonight’s gathering, we aim to serve iftar dinners for 10 thousand throughout the month of Ramadan.”
KYM has been active in Bosnia for some time. The foundation gave away scholarships in the amount of 50 thousand dollar in April. Besides, the children received clothing aid. The foundation also provided both monetary assistance and eight-truck load of basic needs in the aftermath of the recent flooding disaster.

Power struggle for the state or deep rift about Turkey?
As an external observer, I see a profound rift having taken place between Erdoğan — more than anybody else in the AKP — and the Hizmet movement; and that has much less to do with the power struggle than a resistance to another massive, individual attempt to accumulate power in one person.What has defined Erdoğan’s way with various social segments since 2011 is to alienate, antagonize, suppress and devour. Turkish doctors leave country to volunteer at Uganda’s Nile hospital
Doctors who decided to volunteer at the Nile Hospital, established by Turkish charity organization Kimse Yok Mu and set to open in Uganda in few days, have left Turkey on their way to their new posts. The Nile Hospital will be opened very soon, Türkoğlu said, adding that the second doctor to commit to serving Ugandan patients was Sami Kiper.
