The seventh Indonesian Science Project Olympiad (ISPO), organized in Indonesia under the direction of Turkish schools, chose its first four successful participants on Wednesday.

One of the greatest scientific projects of the country, the ISPO attracts a good deal of attention as it is said to motivate students and improve critical thinking skills in the field of science. During the competition, the various projects the students made for the ISPO received much attention from the public and credit from the jury.

A total of 700 scientific projects were presented at the ISPO from 23 provinces of Indonesia. A total of 123 of them made it to the finals. The involvement of female students in the Olympiad and their higher rate of success in comparison with the male participants received a positive reception from jury members.

Projects that excel in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, technology, information and the environment will represent Indonesia in different international Olympiads.

AK Party’s Deputy Günay joins intra-party opposition to prep school ban
