Date posted: November 29, 2016

A farewell ceremony was held at the Spiny road campus of Pak-Turk schools for the Turkish staff, on Saturday.

It was attended by the students, parents of Quarry Road Campus, Jinnah Town Campus and Spiny Road Campus.

Mr. Osman Arslanhan addressed the gathering and mentioned that they have given 22 years of their life to people of Pakistan. Their aim was to serve the people of Pakistan in the field of education. They planned to inaugurate the girls’ college at Jinnah Town and a teacher’s training academy in the month of February, 2017.

Now it is a dream that couldn’t come true. Their mission was to end the ignorance form Pakistan and make it a better place to live. Unfortunately they couldn’t see it to come true. They regret to have, their hearts beat as the same beat as Pakistanis. Pakistan became their home as they only visited during holidays their own country.

All the parents were depressed and disappointed at the forced exit of Turkish staff. They looked sad with tearful eyes bade farewell to the Turkish staff.

Mr. Osman Arslanhan along with the other Turkish staff made a symbolic burial of a heart which was full of hearty wishes of the Turkish staff and drawings made by the Turkish children. The heart was buried with tears in the eyes by all the Turkish staff.

It made all the people to think that is this the fate of people of Pakistan that they have to end up as orphans once again? Their spiritual parents, their beloved teachers have to leave forsaking all of their ambitions, their students, their love and compassion. They serve the people of Pakistan through thick and thin at the time of earthquake, floods and disasters.

It was heart touching to see all the students crying at the fate of their teachers, who thought them, guided them and made the confident.

Symbolic burial of the heart was ceremonies and made everyone present tearful, with a sad heart.
