The charity Kimse Yok Mu carried out cataract surgery on 5,000 people in the Pakistani city of Dera İsmail Khan in 2014.

Kimse Yok Mu carried out a total of 2,224 operations in the city last year and also provided eye and vision examinations to 9,325 patients in 16 districts across the city. The charity dispensed eye medicine to more than 7,000 locals and gave glasses to more than 2,000 people.

Kimse Yok Mu Pakistan branch head Özcan İnan expressed his gratitude to the people of Turkey who contribute to the charitable work of Kimse Yok Mu, saying, “The people of Pakistan thank and pray for the self-sacrificing people of Turkey.”

İnan added that high-level Pakistani officials are grateful for Kimse Yok Mu because members of the charity know no limits when it comes to helping the poor and go to regions which authorities in the country stay away from due to security reasons.

In addition, Kimse Yok Mu has provided accommodation, a mosque, a cemetery and drinking water for 296 families left homeless after a major flood in the Pakistani town of İkbaliye since Sept. 14, 2013.
