The humanitarian aid group Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There) has been providing help to Syrians who fled the civil war in their country and taken shelter in the southeastern province of Kilis.

The group, which serves people in need all over the world, has not forgotten about the Syrians in Turkey. Reaching 4,000 people daily, the mobile soup kitchen has fed 3.12 million refugees over the course of three years.
The total amount of the aid and meals provided by Kimse Yok Mu to Syrian refugees in Kilis cost around TL 9 million since the war in Syria began three years ago.
Expressing that the foundation supplies hot meals six days a week, the regional coordinator of the Kimse Yok Mu foundation, Fevzi Çakmak said “Since the war began, the mobile soup kitchen has fed 3.12 million refugees, including Syrians, Iraqi Turkmens and Yazidis.”
“We will continue to provide meals as long as it is required,” Çakmak added.
Designated a nongovernmental organization in March 2004, Kimse Yok Mu started its work following a devastating earthquake in Turkey in August 1999 and adopted its name (Is Anyone There?) from the cries of people who remained trapped under the rubble.
A protocol signed between the Arbil Governorate and the aid organization in November, the school, which has 12 classrooms and 1,000 square meters of space, was built in the region of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) for refugees who fled Syria. The school will be administered under the Arbil Governorate, according to information obtained from the Ankara office of Kimse Yok Mu.

With Rumi’s words, a roundtable discussion began at the Marriott hotel on Wednesday. The theme of the discussion was ‘Respect Differences and Diversity to Foster Peace and Harmony’ and was organised by the Rumi Forum, a Turkey-based organisation, which aims to bring people of diverse backgrounds together to exchange ideas and opinions and to provide a common platform for education and information exchange.
Turkish charity Kimse Yok Mu drills 1,396 wells in Africa
A total of 1,396 wells have been drilled in 13 African countries since Nov. 1, 2014, as part of a project called “Selsebil Water Wells,” which was launched by Turkish charitable organization Kimse Yok Mu in 2011, in cooperation with Fatih University students and Genç-İz Academy Association members.
