Kimse Yok Mu and Tuna Foundation lifting up Romanian orphans’ spirit

Kimse Yok Mu Foundation in cooperation with the local Tuna Foundation gave away donations of clothing and food to the children of an orphanage in the Romanian capital Bucharest. The two foundations joined together to reach out to a total of 270 orphans including those with mental disorders.The children held a special ceremony in honor of their guests. They performed songs and poems in return as the foundation volunteers engaged closely with them.
The orphanage’s director Adriana Busuoc said they’ve been offering shelter, medical care and educational services to orphaned children under 8. “Thank you very much for your assistance. You did the same for another orphanage just a couple of months ago too. We would like to thank you for making our children smile at least a little bit.”
The volunteers had emotional moments as they handed the donations to the children. “We are ready to do our best as long as we are in Romania.
The Romanian capital Bucharest is home to 30 thousand orphans out of 100 thousand homeless or orphaned children nationwide.

Lawyers, academics say ‘parallel state’ was invented to block graft probe
A total of 150 academics signed the manifesto, titled “Rule of law suspended.” The manifesto says the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) government cannot ignore the corruption allegations just by making up claims of a “parallel state” — which has no meaning in political science or law — and placing the blame on the Hizmet movement, which is inspired by Turkish Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen, for its unlawful practices.

The primary reason why members of Hizmet (Service), a faith-based social movement inspired by Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen, have been attacked, vilified and stigmatized by a government that is dominated by overzealous political Islamists and pro-Iranian sympathizers is that Gülen is standing up to the increasingly authoritarian powers of Erdoğan, who has seized control of the republic’s institutions including the judiciary, leading to increased polarization and tension in Turkish society.
Prime Ministry approved Kimse Yok Mu, now accused of ‘terrorism’
The humanitarian aid group Kimse Yok Mu, now accused of being an armed terrorist organization, had been directed by the Prime Ministry’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), casting doubt on such claims.
