Fethullah Gülen’s Message of Condolences in the Wake of the Western European Floods

I was saddened to learn of the devastating floods in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria, in which more than 180 people have lost their lives and hundreds of people have disappeared so far.
I offer my condolences and wishes for quick recovery to the peoples of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands; I ask God to bestow patience and perseverance on those who lost their loved ones.
I pray to God to give strength to the search and rescue teams so that the missing people can be found quickly, and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
I invite everyone to support the relief efforts personally, financially and through their prayers so that the affected regions can overcome this disaster as soon as possible.

Eight trucks aid supplies for Serbia & Bosnia flood
Embrace Relief’s (located in NJ) sister organization Kimse Yok Mu and its search and rescue team ASYA took its place in Bosnia right after disaster happened. ASYA helped rescue many of the victims with rescue boats and its professional team who trapped on the floodwater. Embrace Relief raised 50,000 dollars for the victims of the disaster.
Local NGOs urge Georgian gov’t to avoid returning Turkish teacher back home
Eight non-governmental organizations have called on the Georgian government to refrain from returning detained Turkish teacher to back home where “he will be possibly subjected to political persecution, torture, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment. “[He] will have no access to fair trial,” said a statement, released on May 31.
Gulen sympathizer stabbed by pro-Erdogan relative in Belgium
Ibrahim Anaz, one of the executives at a Brussels-based association sympathetic to the Gulen movement, was stabbed by a family member who is a supporter of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to local media.

Hakan Koçak was sentenced to 9 months’ imprisonment due to insulting and threatening the volunteers of the Hizmet Movement in Nürnberg, Germany. The judge also told Kocak long-term advice and explained that Germany is a constitutional state.
