Kimse Yok Mu continues its aid for Bosnian flood victims

Kimse Yok Mu Foundation has been continuing its aid efforts in the aftermath of the devastating flood in Bosnia.
Among the regions impacted by the flood, Bosanski Samac, the late president Aliya Izzetbegovic’s hometown, suffered the most. While the floodwater receded in the neighboring cities in two-three days, Samac, which is located between the rivers Bosnia and Sava, stayed under water for over a week. KYM volunteers provided aid donations twice to the sufferers so far. Among the three-truck load of aid donations were blankets and sofas besides food. The foundation also extended a helping hand to those in Republic of Serbia. The victims in Biyelyina too received aid packages of food and cleaning products in addition to blankets and sofas. The Serbians said Islamic Union and Turks assisted them most in the aftermath of the flood. A large fund raising conference will be held in July for the victims.

Germany Accuses Turkey Of ‘Unacceptable’ Spying Against Gülen Supporters
Boris Pistorius, the Interior Minister for Lower Saxony State of Germany, has accused Turkey of carrying out “unacceptable” spying on its soil. It is accused of conducting espionage in more than 200 associations and schools linked to supporters of Fethullah Gülen. Pistorius said the move was “intolerable and unacceptable.”
Embrace Relief headed down to Haiti to help orphanages
Embrace Relief distributed clothing and food to approximately 40 children. The first orphanage was fortunate enough to have a water well and electricity in one of the bedrooms for the orphans, however, the children had very little in terms of clothing, shoes and sustainable food.
Turkish School Awarded ‘Ukraine’s Best School’
Simferepol International School opened by Turkish entrepreneurs in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Ukraine has been listed the top school in the list of the country’s best 100 schools. The school, which opened in 2003, will now appear in a catalogue promoting Ukraine’s best 380 schools. A total of 1,881 schools took part in the competition held in nine branches across the country.

As Turkey’s all-inclusive civil society organization, the Hizmet movement, which has always advocated human rights and freedom, adopted democracy, worked to make the state more transparent and accountable, supported Turkey’s accession to the EU and its integration into the world, has become a target.
More emphasis should be given to improving students’ functional skills
Tens of educators, bureaucrats and representatives of civil society organizations and private education foundations from Turkey and 15 other countries, have said the Turkish education system should not only focus on transferring information but also on improving students’ functional skills and capabilities.
Thousands of Turks Seek Asylum in Germany
Many, though not all, of the officials are suspected of having links to the Gulen movement accused of plotting the 15 July coup attempt last year. Given the lack of evidence, it seems unlikely that the Turks would be able to provide better evidence to the Germans that these lower-level figures committed any crimes.
