Belgian minister presents Turkish schools as example of high quality education

Joëlle Milquet, the minister of lower education for the French government, attended the opening ceremony of the Liege branch of the “Écoles Des Étoiles” (Schools of the Stars), which were founded by Turkish entrepreneurs in Belgium 10 years ago.

Milquet stated that the Turkish schools in her country realize the dream of high quality education in Belgium. She said that the Turkish schools represent perfection in education and added: “Your understanding of education based on universal values, your high quality, your close relationship with the families of the children and your diversity show that you symbolize perfection. I wish all of the schools in Belgium could adopt the same pedagogy as yours in education. You raise the morals and conscioussness of the citizens of the future.”

Naim Şen, head of “Ecoles des Etoiles” group, also gave a speech at the opening ceremony. He said: “Our aim is to raise a generation that adopts the values of Belgium by putting forth our best efforts. We see that as a duty of loyalty to the cities we live in.” Şen also thanked Milquet for her support since the opening of the “Ecoles des Etoiles.”

Ecoles des Etoiles offers education services to more than 1,000 students in three different Belgian cities. There are also other education institutes founded by Turkish entrepreneurs in Belgium.
