Kimse Yok Mu, Turkish schools extend help for flood victims in Afghanistan

International Charity organization Kimse Yok Mu and Turkish schools operating in Afghanistan delivered aid for 750 families who have been living in tents in the aftermath of a sweeping flood.
Volunteers from Kimse Yok Mu and Turkish schools gave food boxes to the families. Afghan people expressed their gratitude for aid delivery.
Kimse Yok Mu officials stated that death toll increased to 148, 100 are still missing, 50,000, including 25,000 children, lost their homes following the flood.
Kimse Yok Mu Foundation (KYM) and the US-based Embrace Relief jointly donated three-container-loads of medical supplies to Haiti combating cholera epidemic. The two of the containers were delivered to the hospital KYM built in the capital city Port-au-Prince and the remaining is to depart in two weeks.
Turkish schools issue [in Pakistan] still to be resolved
The official demand has now apparently been watered down to transfer ownership/administration of these educational institutions to the official Maarif Foundation tasked by the Turkish government to encourage foreign governments to seize other Turkish educational foundations operating in those countries, possibly targeting enterprises run by individuals close to US-based Islamic scholar Fethullah Gulen.
The Turkish connection in India
As the Turkish Consulate gets ready to set up office in Hyderabad, Neeraja Murthy finds a Turkey-Hyderabad connect. Indialogue Foundation, the Turkish cultural centre acts as a hub for the 15 Turkish families living in Hyderabad. “We get together here during religious ceremonies like Eid and we organise inter-faith seminars, talks, conferences and cultural programmes. We arrange business meetings between Turkish and Indian businessmen and also organise Turkish celebrations.”
Iran’s Turkish gold rush
While the gas-for-gold scheme may have been technically legal before Congress finally shut it down in July, it appears to have exposed the Turkish political elite to a vast Iranian underworld. According to Today’s Zaman, suspicious transactions between Iran and Turkey could exceed $119 billion — nine times the total of gas-for-gold transactions reported.
