Australian Relief Organisation awarded “Letter of Appreciation” by the Cambodian Ministry of Rural Development

Australian Relief Organisation (ARO) has been recently awarded a “Letter of Appreciation” by the Cambodian Ministry of Rural Development. ARO, with the donation supports, has established water wells in Cambodia that now provide drinkable water to over 25,000 locals on a daily basis.
ARO’s programs also included orphanage programs along with yearly food pack and dinner appeals to the needy. Since 2013, ARO’s partner in Cambodia, Mekong Charity, has played a crucial role in delivering humanitarian programs. ARO appreciates Mekong Charity’s role and shares credit with it. As the Turkish Consulate gets ready to set up office in Hyderabad, Neeraja Murthy finds a Turkey-Hyderabad connect. Indialogue Foundation, the Turkish cultural centre acts as a hub for the 15 Turkish families living in Hyderabad. “We get together here during religious ceremonies like Eid and we organise inter-faith seminars, talks, conferences and cultural programmes. Fethullah Gülen donates $10,000 for victims of Typhoon Haiyan disaster in Philippines
Turkish Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen donated to the Kimse Yok Mu foundation $10,000 for the victims of the Typhoon Haiyan disaster in the Philippines. “According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs [UNOCHA], 4.3 million people have been affected by the typhoon and 330,000 people are now homeless. Ninety percent of the houses in Tacloban city have been damaged,” AFAD stated recently.
Pak Turk Schools employees in UN protection after visa extensions turned down
As many as 108 Turkish employees of the Pak Turk Schools, along with their families, have been in the United Nations’ protection after Pakistani authorities denied them an extension in their visas to work in the country. The applicants had told UNHCR they feared arrest, coercion and torture by the Erdogan government in Turkey in case the Pakistani government forcibly deported them to Istanbul.

Kimse Yok Mu provides TL 11 million aid to Palestine
Kimse Yok Mu Foundation has provided 11,248,000 Turkish Lira worth assistance to Palestinians to date. Over 3/4 of this amount has been given away in the form of food. With the launch of the local chapter in 2013, our foundation has increased its efforts in the region. Total amount in 2014 alone reached over 3 million Turkish Lira.
